Rising to towering heights, the Semien Mountains are often referred to as the “Roof of Africa.” The jagged peaks, deep gorges, and rugged cliffs create a stunning panorama that is unlike any other in the world. The highest point in the range is Ras Dashen, standing at an impressive 4,550 meters (14,928 feet) above sea level. The views from the mountaintops are simply breathtaking, with sweeping vistas of deep valleys, cascading waterfalls, and lush green plateaus stretching as far as the eye can see.

Early morning we will drive some 103 km from Gondar to the park headquarter in Debark, the 100 km journey will take around two hours. At the headquarters we will arrange our permits to the park and pick up our scout. Then keep driving for another 30-40 minutes until the Hike starts along mountain trails enjoying the endless vistas as your guide explains the unique flora of this elevated region. You will also cross paths with a troop of the Gelada baboon, a unique species indigenous to Ethiopia and the Simien Mountains. Moreover, you will visit the spectacular waterfall of Jinbar from the view point of Goche-Nedala. Return to Debark. Overnight Ras Dejen Hotel in Debark
Early in the morning have a 30 minute relaxing walk to Lemalimo which is the most known places for its highest gradient roads in Ethiopia, to have wonderful sights there, we will see some endemic animals such as Chilada and others, visit presterian trees in the left and right side of Limalimo. In the afternoon drive to Gondar to have flight to Addis. End of Tour.
